A FATEFUL VISIT TO MY AUNT

Yesterday when I was talking to my mother, she told me that my aunt had a serious illness, she was suffering from cancer. When I heard this, I was heartbroken. I really loved my aunt and respected her for what she was. I felt even worse because I had not talked to her for a very long time and we had not seen each other for ages. So, I decided to go and meet her without even thinking twice.

I started out early in the morning, cleaning my car and giving Coco-my horse-a ride. I hoped the route to my aunt’s house would be nice, but it turned out to be pathetic. It was full of RIFTS and mud, I felt as If I were dirt-biking on the hills. On my way, I saw an EQUESTRIAN show with almost all the breeds of horses. The movement of horses appeared like a perfect melody as if an OCTET was performing a classical masterpiece.  I saw a lovely Arabian horse and felt like buying it, but when I tried to ASCERTAIN the cost, I realised that it was better buying a new house.

So finally, I reached the house. I don’t know why, but I felt extremely guilty, it felt like a wind blew past my ears saying that a little early could have been better. I rang the doorbell a hundred times, but no one seemed to react. I could not show any more FORBEARANCE, so I entered the house. The walls were EMBOSSED with various kinds of shapes and structures. At that time, I just realised that my aunt had a serious HANDICAP – she was weak AURALLY and could hear only limited sounds. I tried to look for my aunt everywhere, but could not find her. I even went to her bedroom, where I saw the oxygen cylinders and the blood bottles, but she was not there. This was taking a CRUCIAL test of my patience.  I thought I was sent on an ESPIONAGE by the government. Throughout when I was searching for her, I was PREOCCUPIED thinking about how she pampered me when I was a small boy. I think I am sharp and ASTUTE – no wonder I found her at her favourite place – the meditation room. When I entered the room, she was lying down on the floor. I thought she must have slept. I patted on her shoulder, but she did not react. I panicked a bit but then I SUBJUGATEDmyself. I tried to make myself believe that she was sleeping, but that did not turn out to be the truth. I also tried to read her pulse, but there was no beat. I was dug deep into guilt, but now it was too late to realise anything and yes, the winds were probably true.
